I think this dish looks good, but I think I would eliminate the peas and I would definitely add lots of cheese: good parmesan cheese, gruyere, something to give it more flavor and gooey good!

I just watched the show that featured this recipe and the recipe your showing on the web site isn't the same. Rachael used canned tuna, sundried tomatoes, parm. cheese etc. Maybe it didn't get great reviews because this isn't the same recipe.

It took me a little longer than 30 min to prepare this but not too much longer. I also grilled the tuna steak to add a different flavor and added corn to the receipe. I used fresh thyme instead of ground to get more of a flavor. It turned out well,a little dry but everyone liked it and I would probably make it again.

This turned out really great with some tuna steaks a friend brought back from a fishing trip. I also used whole wheat noodles. I will be making this again!

I skipped the fresh tuna and used 1 can of tuna with oil, one with water...this cut out the whole poaching step. To make up for the lost flavor, I threw some garlic in with the onions/mushrooms and some extra salt and pepper. I also used vegetable stock in place of chicken stock and cut out all but one tablespoon of butter. It turned out to be delicious! It was very flavorful and tasted fresh, not fattening. Next time, I'll add more peas!

Stick to the tried and true - it's tuna casserole, no need to go changing it. Especially when the recipe does not live up to the hype. The casserole was very dry and bland that it more resembled a blah, ordinary casserole with an expensive cut of fish. The combo of CHICKEN broth and cream overpowered the tuna anyway. I second suggestion for this recipe that you save the fresh tuna for the grill, and use canned tuna instead, with your old cream of mushroom soup and spices.

I followed this recipe exactly and it came out horribly. Just because she can think it up, does not mean it's a good idea! As others have said, it was a ridiculous waste of expensive tuna! All that time and money invested, and in the end my family of 6 all agreed that I should have just made the regular old fashioned tuna casserole that we all know and love! Thanks a lot, Rachael - you ruined my evening!!
