This was a very tasty dish that satisfied my husband, my three year old, and my one year old alike, while leaving plenty of leftovers for lunches throughout the week. After reading the warning of another reviewer regarding the price of good tuna steaks, I thought I would try it with boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I used two and prepared them as the recipe suggests for the fish, only cooking them a bit longer to make sure they were cooked through. The meat was tender and flavorful, as was the sauce. Though I would highly recommend tasting and adjusting seasonings after combining everything and before adding the breadcrumbs. When I make this dish again, I will also be sure to warm up the casserole dish in the oven before transfering the mixture since in a cool dish it cooled down too quickly.

This is a pretty good recipe...much better than the "cream of" soup versions I've had before.

This is a great tasting casserole. My "issue" with it is the cost. The tuna steaks alone were over $22.00! Very FANCY for a tuna casserole. I think I'll try the canned tuna next time and see what happens.

I was looking for an interesting new casserole and gave this one a shot. My biggest complaint in that by making everything seperately and combining then right before serving, the ingredients didn't transfer flavor to each other as well as they could have.
