We have made this variation for years in my family. It can be extended into a main dish with the addition of chicken, beef, pork or even shrimp. Mushrooms are also nice.

This was very easy to make and very tasty. The boxed pilaf takes the same amount of time and effort. I'll always make it this way.

This was so easy! I cut up left over pork chops into small pieces and added it after browning the rice and pasta. It was great.

Extremely easy to make. Taste was good, but seemed to be missing something - couldn't quite put my finger on it. I enjoyed it though.

I liked this recipe for it's ease of preparation and taste. I sauteed some chopped veggies (diced onion, celery & green pepper to the butter and some choppped parsley prior to serving. The dish was a welcome change from potatoes and much better that the boxed stuff which I dislike. My family liked it a lot too.

This is delish, and has become a staple at our house due to it's ease in making and it's yummy flavor. Goes well with many dishes.

Very good recipe, go wild, add onions or minced carrots to the butter!
