i have added McCormick's bbq seasoning and then served with Hunt's bbq sauce & lots of McCain fries and frozen Miller Genuine Draft. I gotta tell you one steak ain't enough !!!!!!!!!! Delicious recipe!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent flavors. I added a little kosher salt to the rub and brushed the steaks with jalapeño infused olive oil. Substituted the jalapeño olive oil in the salad, as well. The cilantro, avocado, and lime juice gave the salad a bright freshness. I think we'll grill some pollo asado next weekend, slice it, and place it on top for a mexican dinner salad.

i made this recipe a while back and i did enjoy it the only thing was that i had to add different seasonings because it kinda was a little bland for my taste overall the steak was very tender it had good flavor it was simple to make when your rushing to put something on the table and i would def make again.

My brother, brother-in-law and I made this meal one night. It was excellent to say the least.
The steaks were very flavourful. The salad was out of this world. I don't even like avacado that much but with the dressing they tasted great. I was suprised at how such a simple dressing could taste so good. As for the cornbread it was very tasty however I don't think I put it in the oven soon enough to be ready at the same time as everything else. That or it was too thick. Maybe I'll use a bigger pan next time?
We washed this all down with Coronas with lime slices and also had crab meat appetizers.

First made this with RR's cornbread for Valentines, then put it in the regular rotation. Flavorful, but not so spicy it burns...

This was a simple meal to make. The steaks were tender and the seasoning make them mouth watering. I can't say enough about the mexican salad, it was so good I shared it at work and everyone raved about the fresh taste and how healthy it was for you. With the cornbread it was a meal that won't soon be forgotten, thanks Rachel!
