Very enjoyable. Quick, easy, not an overwhelming amount of ingredients, inexpensive to make if you keep basics around the house. Also, easy to modify if you're missing an ingredient or two. The 1st time I made it, I didn't have any wine or worcestershire handy so I skipped the wine and added about a tablespoon of soy sauce to the beef instead of worcestershire. I also added finely minced bell pepper to my ground beef. Love the flavor it gives. Best as written but still delicious if you need to sub. Everyone loves it either way.

This is such a good recipe! My boyfriend went for seconds and made me keep the leftovers all for him. The gravy has a nice bite from the wine (I used Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc. I ended up forming the ground beef into a "meatloaf" and baked it instead of cooking the separate steaks. I also made the gruyere smashed potatoes which were excellent with this! Will def make this again!

This was some thing different to do with our hamburger for my family, and I will be making this again! I didn't follow the recipe exactly, I added different seasons to my meat such as garlic salt, did not use wine but instead used more broth and I had added milk and butter to my gravy. Taste test and adjust it to your likes and you will enjoy this meal!! :

This salisbury steak is just like the one my mom used to make. brings Back some wonderful memories. I don't like the taste of the wine in the gravy so I just increase the beef broth, I think it makes it taste that much richer. Thanks Rachael for this one as Mom is in Heaven now and this dinner made it almost seem like she was at the table. Almost felt like she was in the kitchen helping to make it.

Great recipe everyone enjoyed. Easy with simple ingredients. Gravy was perfect! I had to stop my husband from going for seconds... reminded him what a nice lunch he'll have next day! I added garlic to the gravy, we love garlic, but it would still be good without.
