So this recipe was delicious. We did not use the cayenne pepper sauce and we didn't have cracker meal. But we had some cheerios, so we crushed them and added them to the recipe.

Can I add another star?!
They are absolutely amazing!!
Made them for my husband on his birthday, we loved them!
I add scallops to the recipe and a bit of corn meal to the mix, just love it!
Definetely will recommend them to my friends, and pass on the recipe!!

I had a luncheon for a few family members. I tried your salmon cakes recipe for the first time, it was a total hit. My brother left my home with a copy of the recipe. I will certainly make it again. Ps I followed the recipe to the "T"

This recipe has way too much cracker meal. You can't even taste the salmon and all that cracker meal, plus two large eggs makes for a pretty dense, heavy salmon cake. The other ingredient are flavorful, so if anyone wants to try this recipe, I would definitely only use one egg and maybe only a half a cup of cracker meal. The mayonnaise, relish etc. topping was fine.

These cakes were great! Very easy too! The only thing I altered was the eggs. I only used one. It has been my experience with making any kind of fish cakes that they are usually too wet and fall apart, but one egg was PERFECT! They formed beautifally and stayed together, not to mention they were yummy!

This dish is amazing, even my young kids love it. I changed it around the second time I made it with panko instead of corn meal, added red pepper flakes for added kick and used sweet relish when I couldn't find dill. Still a great dish......

Really good. I baked the patties in my toaster oven. Using what I had on hand I made a sauce of mayo, Mae Ploy sauce [sweet garlic chili sauce] , and minced sweet pickle. I used about 1/2 cup mayo and about 1/4 cup Mae Ploy. Was a delish sauce but didn't need the pickle.

I substituted dry dill, franks hot sauce and wheat-thins for the cracker meal. These were awesome
