Made these with broiled salmon, used panko bread crumbs, dried dill and 1/4 of a yellow onion because that is what I had on hand. Tasted wonderful!! I cooked them on an electric skillet so I didn't have to use any oil. Tasty and Healthy!!

I have prepared this dinner three times now and it always turns out great. I am commenting on this because I want to remember this one in 3 or 4 months. Trust me if you follow the direction you shouldn't have a problem. I did double the recipe tonight so my teenagers could heat them up after school for a snack. Very GOOD

I took the advice of others and watched my egg/bread crumb ratio. I had leftover baked salmon. It seemed a little moist so I started with one egg and added about 1/2 cup crumbs. After a little more of the bread crumbs it seemed good, so I added the veggies and herbs. They turned out perfectly. The combo of Old Bay and cayenne pepper was great. This is a great way to avoid wasting leftover salmon and good enough to make all the time. Thanks, Rachel.

Using fresh not canned salmon in this recipe yielded the best salmon cakes ever! I subbed dry herbs and used ~1/2 the breadcrumbs with yummy results!

Okay, I didn't have any chives, cayenne pepper sauce, fresh dill, lemon, or cracker meal. Cracker meal? Never heard of it! But I had this wonderful left over cooked salmon - So this is what I did: Used a little cilantro instead of the chives, some chipotle & adobo sauce for the cayenne pepper sauce, just used plain bread crumbs for the cracker meal, and they STILL came out wonderful. Didn't have the full 18 ounces of salmon, either, so I just eyeballed everything to the right consistency and had enough to make 5. (Also just used 1 egg. Try these! They were probably better than anything I could get in a restaurant.

These turned out perfect for me. I didn't have any Old Bay so I used paprika, garlic and onion powder, and a dash of lemon pepper instead. I also took Rachel's lead and eyeballed amounts of crackermeal and egg until I got the right consistency (similar to hambuger. Perhaps the people who had cakes that were too runny or dense didn't do this?

I've made these Salmon cakes twice and they are always delicious and a crowd pleaser! It's a nice change from just having grilled salmon all the time, and the recipe couldn't be easier.

These were a great midweek meal, quick and filling. I used one can of salmon and pretty much halved everything else, it made two perfect servings. Served over the greens with the remoulade on top, definitely looked restaurant ready. I highly recommend these!
