I made this on a cold night - fabulous! I substituted kale for the broccoli rabe, used very lean pork sausage and fat free chicken broth; so delicious! It's a meal in itself. Also, for those on weight watchers, for 6 servings it is 7 points, and they are huge servings!

My family loves this soup. We make it with hot turkey sausage and put the whole thing in the crock pot and cook all day. The flavors meld and the beans soften and thicken the soup. We like to make it one day and eat it the NEXT. Thick and hearty. We call it Rachel's soup. THANKS FOR A GREAT RECIPE!!

Great recipe. Took a decent amount of time chopping, but turned out fantastic. I used Italian turkey sausage and substituted spinach for the greens. Very flavorful and hearty on a dreary winter day!

This soup was easy and quick to make and super tasty! I added soup pasta (ditalini. That's the great thing about this soup! You can add to it to make it how you like it and it still turns out wonderful! Great winter meal with a nice baguette! Perfection!

I have made this soup several times and it comes out wonderful! the first time i used broccoli since I couldn't find broccoli rabe. The second time i added more beans and sausage and I loved it even more. I will keep making this soup again and again.

This soup was so good. My husband, daughter and I loved it. I will make again, and again etc. It does make alot of soup but the reason is you can't just have one bowl. I didn't alter ingredients at all.

I used escarole instead of the broccoli rabe and it was wicked good, and very easy to make. Don't put pepper in it, either, because the sausage is very peppery.
