I'd been wanting to make this for over a year, finally did, and it was delicious! Looked like a lot of onions, but fear not, perfectly delish. Next time I'll use ALL HOT sausage, since they have more flavor & the recipe rendered them not at all spicy. Loved the texture of the kale. Fantastic flavors, mostly savory with just a little sweet. My pasta didn't turn red/purple and presented really beautifully. Enjoying my leftovers now, and will definitely make again!

Made this all the time in my teens, still love it now, it's an easy way to get more dark greens in my diet, this sweet/savory kick's something else!

This was delicious! I used jellied cranberry sauce and all sweet sausage and it turned out really well. Served to teenagers and adults - everyone raved about it.

I love this recipe: hearty yet light and healthy. I follow the recipe to the letter with few exceptions: I use ALL hot sausage (because I thought there was enough sweetness from the cranberry sauce and I add 3/4 cup of chicken or beef stock. I still use the pasta water as well, but I make this with whole wheat pasta and it sucks up a ton of liquid. I always prefer my pasta to have a little bit of sauce in the bottom of my bowl for bread. Really, really delicious and satisfying.

I love this recipe so much that I crave it! I use mild sausage so the kids would eat it with no problems and I use a homemade cranberry sauce instead of a can. I also substitute broth for the wine. In the words of Rachael Ray, "Yummo"!

I have made this dish several times already and everyone just loves it. I used hot Italian sausage, but that is to our taste. Not only was this dish easy to prepare it has great color and flavor too. Thank you Rachael for such a great dish!

What a delicious way to incorporate kale! Substituted shallots for the red onion and used only mild italian sausage because that is what I had. This was so delicious and flavorful and not too sweet - only a hint of cranberry and the rest savory. Make sure to buy the flavored Italian sausage because that is where most of the flavor comes from.

I make this recipe every year with my leftover Thanksgiving cranberries and, next to my husband's stuffing, this is the dish I look most forward to at the holidays. Delicious and SUPER easy!
