I am not a HUGE fan of sausage, but my husband really likes it, so I thought I'd give this a try. Total crowd pleaser for the whole family!

create and very, very good. Thank you
Rachel Ray for an answered recipe.
This recipe is for a sandwhich usually
enjoyed out. My husband asked me to make the Italian sausage sandwhich, and
food network came through again. The above title is what he said after he
    finished.

I made these for my husband on Father's Day. He is the only one in the family that really likes sausage. I tried it myself and it knocked my socks off! There were so many layers of flavors, and serving it on the garlic bread was a great idea. My husband has requested we make it a Father's day tradition.
It took longer than 30 minutes, but it is well worth the time.

I was really surprised by how much my husband and I both loved this recipe. It hits all of the major cravings - sweet, hot, and salty. My husband ate it until he was too full to eat anything else and then couldn't wait to take the leftovers in his lunch the next day. The only criticism is that it's a little messy to eat so I wouldn't make it for a first date. But other than that I would not change a thing. Delicious!

Who knew hoagies could taste gourmet? This was a delicious sandwich! The garlic butter and Italian herbs on the bread made the hoagie a stand out. The only complaint - for a 30-minute easy meal, there were sure a lot of steps and dirty pans when I was through. Aside from that, it was the *perfect* hoagie!

Has the right amount of zing. I have given this recipe out to people at work and they love it--what better compliment can there be.
