This was outstanding. I love peppers, but they don't like me. I've had no after effects. I even when for seconds. I'm sending this to everyone. Enjoy.

I've cooked this recipe twice so far -- and it gets better and easier each time. Very tasty -- the hot peppers and hot sausage definitely add a kick to it. It makes a lot for a single person, so be prepared to share or have for a few meals.

Easy and the sausage tasted just great. The bread is my hard part because I always burn it but other than that... yummy!

It was good but it caused a lot of smoke and oil all over the kitchen so it's a bit to clean up.

Oh My God! This was really good. It was fairly easy to prepare and very tasty. Although everything takes me much longer to prepare than on 30 minute meals. I was not able to find the cubanelle peppers or the hot cherry peppers. It tasted great with just the red peppers though. The garlic sauce on the bread makes a huge difference. I will make this again!

I loved this recipe, and I have one little warning for anybody (such as myself who doesn't cook with sausage often... Be careful not to pop them! When I was piercing the first sausage with a fork, I guess I got a little overzealous and all of the contents came plopping out the other end. I found that it worked better if I pierced on an angle.

I made this hoggie thing for my husband for breakfast so that he could bring to work and eat easy. Well, turned out, he really loved this hoggies and told me that his workmates was like " Hmm, what is that? THat smell good!" So, I ended up making the same hoggies to yesterday(I made 3 hoggies so that the workmates could enjoy too for his workmates. I think that this hoggies was best in me and, that pepper juice could be the key to make this delicious one. Keep up the good work, Rachael!!
    Thank you!

Simmering the sausage was such a good idea. This was really yummy and really fast.
