Not rocket science, which is why this is so good. I even hooked up with Emerils sausage to make these! I agree, the peppers are a must, as they give off "that flvor".

My son and I were watching this episode a couple of nights ago, and immediately went out to buy the ingredients for this dinner. We were not disappointed! This recipe was just enough different from the usual and we voted to make it this way from now on. We also made the potato fries which were good. Rachael is awesome!

Ok...for starters let me just say that I do not like sausage! Not on my pizza, not in my biscuits and gravy, not on anything. My husband happened to watch the episode with me where Rachael made these hoagies and insisted that we try them. I reluctantly agreed. In fact, after they were made, I ate everything else on my plate before I even tried the first bite. I was positive that this one would be going in the trash. WAS I WRONG!! These hoagies are THE BEST. Moral of the story....Even if you are a sausage hater like me, try these hoagies...you won't believe how amazing they taste!

These sausage and pepper sandwiches rock! The peppers and onions are so tender and that kick of hot pepper flavor adds just the right amount of heat. The best part is that you can stack the hoagie pretty high and everything still stays in the roll.
