This cabbage is simple and tasty. It has a lot of crunch left in it yet is well done. The sweet/sour is not overdone. The best part is that I was able to prepare it at the last minute with ingredients that were on hand. No apples required!!! This is one that will be repeated a lot.

I haven't made or really had cooked red cabbage, but I had some left over that I needed to use. This recipe had good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. My kids (3 & 5 ate it just fine, but both my husband and I thought it was too sweet. We ate it but I think next time I will just saute it with salt and pepper in some olive oil or butter.

This is a great, affordable alternative as a side dish. It has a lot of flavor and very little fat.

I had no idea cabbage could taste this good! This recipe is definitely making it into my permanent rotation. I did as another reviewer suggested and used dijon mustard instead of mustard seed, and I also substituted honey for the sugar. Defiinitely give this one a try!

Very good recipe for cabbage. Not too sweet and great flavors. I used dijon mustard whisked into the vinegar instead of mustard seed and it turned out great! I'll definitely make this again.

I am not much for red cabbage or anything with vinager in it, but this was outstanding. My parents don't think I can cook. Dad ate most of the cabbage and loved it. I will make this again. It's wonderful especially with fresh picked cabbage from the garden.
