This recipe for the egg and scallion pancakes is actually very good. It is very easy to make and has great flavor.

The dipping sauce is another story. It is horrible. All around our dinner table it was unanimous as we took our first bites that the sauce ruined our first bite. Actually the pancake is so good as sauce isn't necessary.

OMG, these were sooooo good! I just loved munching on them along with the soup. I didn't like the dipping sauce although, I'll admit, I probably didn't make it right and I think my honey is a bit .. old.

    Will totally make these again.

This recipe is so easy and delicious. I've made it a couple of times already. The sauce is fantastic and would be really good used for potstickers too.

I thought this was really good. This will be one of the meals I will make for lunch when the husband and kid is gone.

I had all the ingredients on-hand, and prepping the scallions, mixing the sauce, and whisking the egg/egg yolk together took NO time at all. It was a very good (and simple lunch. However, after the first pancake, I added some hot sauce and a little more soy sauce. I wanted a little more zip, but I can't really fault the original recipe - it's very good as-is.

The proportion of the soy sauce is a bit much to my boyfriend's and my liking.
