I made this for a me and a friend of mine. It was easy, and good, but it didn't blow me away. It was just ok.

The taste of the bechamel sauce didn't mesh with the tomatoes like I had thought it would. I used lots of pots and pans. I think it was a little complicated for a week night. The salad was really good, though, simple and refreshing. I'll make it again.

I have to say that your fake-baked ziti was a huge hit! I have two teenage sons, so making meals they like can be a challenge. The ziti was a huge hit with not only my boys but their friends as well. Thanks for all you great recipes that take 30 minutes. It make this working moms life a little easier

I made this dish for the first time tonight for my husband and a friend of ours. I was worried that I had ruined the meal when my garlic got a little more browned than I would have liked and my evoo seemed to sit on top of my tomatoes. However, as I continued to cook, I was surprised at how easy the meal was to prepare and how much the meal smelled like authentic Italian (I know Rachel is Italian--I mean it smells like it would if I went to a restaurant. At any rate, the meal was very tasty. We did serve it with Italian sausage on the side, but all three of us went back for seconds. This was a definite keeper!

This turned out terriffic!!!! The white sauce is so delicious. It's easy, quick, and very forgiving even if you do not follow the measurements exactly. I've made it twice already and will keep making it again and again.

I was surprised at how really good this was. I used all Parmesan and regular canned tomatoes. Husband and toddler LOVED it!

the only mod I did was use dried basil...and next time I will try to use Italian Sausage or Ground Beef. I wasn't impressed with the white sauce but all in all it was pretty good.
