My kids and husband and I loved this! I used one can of diced tomatoes and the rest crushed, because I knew my kids didn't like lots of chunky tomatoes. I used fresh basil and Oregano, and it was soooo good. A keeper!

We love this recipe at my house.... its so impressive and a real crowd pleaser. Great go-to for when there's company coming; can't imagine ANYONE not liking it! My only quam with the recipe is that the ratios for the bechamel seemed to be off and I ended up with it too thin: no problem, if this happens to you too just mix up equal parts of flour and water in a seperate container and add slowly untill youve got the right consistancy.

I followed this recipe exactly . I only added 1 lb of ground chuck. This was awesome. Since whatching RR I won't buy jar sauce again. It's so refreshing and easy to make.

This dish was real simple to make and I loved it! I added a little hamburger meat to mine though!

As the eldest daughter of the family, speaking on behalf of all who ate the ziti last night, I would like to say that this ziti was incredibly thought out, and probably the best pasta I've ever had in a while. And, the fact that my dad was the cook really boosted the flavor, and I'd like to say that this ziti is fabulously tasty, and wonderfully delicious.

This is more like 8 servings. I added a little red wine at the with the whole tomatoes and melted the parm and asiago in the bechemel and MAN was it good. I don't think I'll be moving however for a few hours.

I watch Rachel make this while on the treadmill at the club the day before the superbowl. I immediately knew what I would serve as a side at my football party. My friends loved it! It was easy and cheesy!
    You are the best Rachel!

I've made this as a stand-alone main course and tonight as a side dish with plain baked pork chops. We could get three meals out of this (and I didn't even have enough pasta to meet the recipe requirement. Even though I'm experienced w/ this recipe and w/ cooking in general, it still took closer to an hour to prepare this dish. It's very good though and it makes a nice meatless dish. My picky husband gives this a thumbs up.
