Thought it was just wonderful. It was very easy to make, but I did substitute the 5 spice for an asian spice I found at the store.

Hubby and I ate this last night and were in hog heaven. It was great! Based on some of the other reviews, I sprinkled one side of the tuna with 5 spice seasoning and the other side with kosher salt and white pepper. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Seriously - this salad is worth it just for the dressing. Quick and easy to make and so good.
I make this all the time for mid-week dinners as well as entertaining when I know my guests want a healthy meal. It's definitely a favorite
I do not use the 5-spice on the tuna (personal taste... just the Montreal Steak seasoning. Mix up the salad ingredients w/ whatever you want (or whatever the store has!.

This was pretty good for a fast, simple dish on a weeknight. Nice bite of wasabi in the dressing without being overpowering. I heeded the reviews and used less of the five spice powder. Also, I didn't use radish.

Used asian sea salt in place of 5-spice powder - delicious!

Great flavors, but a bit overwhelmed by the saltiness of the five spice. We used low sodium soy and still it was too salty. Next time I might swap the ratios on the five spice and steak seasoning as someone else suggested.
Also, for two, we used one five ounce bag of baby mixed greens, doubled the cucumber, radish and tuna.

Very simple but very tasty dressing. The tuna came out DELICIOUS with the five-spice blend, and I even loved it on the salad, though usually I don't like meats in my salad. Super healthy, especially if you cut back a bit on the oil - I'll make this often!

This recipe was definitely as good as most of the reviews. I cut back on the Chinese 5 spice and drank far too much wine before ,during and after, but the meal was delicious!

Heeding the warnings of other reviews, I barely sprinkled the five spice powder on both sides (1/4 teaspoon, max and then used kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. I also only cooked my tuna steak for 1 1/2 minutes because I like my tuna rare/medium-rare.
It had a good flavor, nice crust, but I am SO glad that I only used a little 5 spice. It was pretty powerful even in that little amount.
As far as the dressing, to make it more figure-friendly, I reduced the EVOO to only 1 1/2 tablespoons. I used fresh zucchini and yellow tomatoes for my salad, since I don't like cucumber or radish.
