This was so easy to prepare and so tasty when done. Instead of using the soba, I substituted some shrimp and just cooked them in a wok with some of the sesame oil, then added them. This dish is excellent served chilled, and when my husband tried it for the first time, he said, "Honey, I think you are on to something." Of course I gave Rachael her due :

Extremely fast and delicious, I make this often during the summer. It's great topped with grilled beef or chicken. Way too much too dressing as others have said. I halve the liquid ingredients, reduce the honey a bit more and add chiles.

I normally like Rachael Ray's recipes. I think this one was user error. :-

The first time I made this, I doubled the whole recipe (but left out the soy beans and found the sesame oil flavor too over powering. So the next time I made it, I doubled everything but the sesame oil, and it turned out much better. Because I made this adjustment according to my taste, if you absolutely love the flavor of sesame oil, leave it as is. But all around a good noodle recipe, and will be making it a third time.

Very good and easy. I added a touch of chili oil for heat. I halved dressing ingredients, except for garlic and ginger and there was plenty of flavor. Agave is much sweeter than honey so if you don't like sweet, definitely cut that back. I also added julienned red pepper for color and crunch.

This was simple to put together and made a nice cold salad for a take to work lunch but I had a couple of issues with it. I substituted agave for the honey because I find it less cloyingly sweet but 1/4 cup was still a lot and I found the dressing a little too sweet for my taste. Plus there was a lot of dressing. The noodles were swimming in it and there was still a big pool of it at the bottom of the bowl. I added some red pepper strips to the veggie mix for more color and crunch. I found that the veggies really didn't combine well with the noodles, especially the edamame, and they sank to the bottom of the bowl when mixed which made it hard to serve. If I make this again, I will prepare the noodles and veggies sepearately and serve the noodles with a topping of veggies. I will also make only half the dressing and cut back on the sweetner.

Loved it! I left out honey and added some cooked chicken. This is one of the first recipes that I have made that did not need extra seasoning to make it palatable.

Whenever I make recipe for the first time, I follow it exactly. I did that here and found that the flavors fell a little flat. other than that it was satisfying.I think shaved radish or radish sprouts would have perked it up.
