After reading the reviews, I almost didn't make this. Luckily I did, because I thought they were fabulous, as did my husband. I did cut the amount of tamari used in the sauce by half, and doubled the amount of honey, and I liked the result. For appetizers, make them smaller than recommended, as they are a bit of a mouthful otherwise.

These, along with the soup, took a lot longer than 30 minutes and I really don't feel they were worth the time and effort. Will not be making them again.

These are very good. Not knock-your-socks-off good, but a nice change. Even though it is a "30 Minute Meal", I found it pretty labor intensive. I liked the balls themselves more than the dipping sauce.

These were great!! 5 Stars for this one. I used ground chicken. The shrimp are not meant to overpower but merely make them more flavorful. For those of you who could not taste the shrimp..just try them without shrimp and you will see. I also rolled mine is corn starch which gives them a nice color browned. You could also stuff this mixture into dumpling wrappers.
The sauce, though a bit salty is easy to adjust. Just add a little Sambal chili paste.
Anyone who's eaten at a good Thai restaurant would have to agree....Good Job Rachel!!!

I used ground white chicken breasts in instead of pork and my cilantro was fresh out of the garden but I was surprised when they came out green !! My son says to save them for Halloween. They tasted good and the dipping sauce (without the sesame oil.. I forgot it was very nice, but the color definitely off-putting. And overall a little too much work for the end result.

These looked so great on the show, I was excited to make them, but I really didn't care for them. They were way to greasy and the dipping sause was so salty I couldn't eat it. Plus, I didn't taste the shrimp-- at $10.99 a pound I would have left it out if I knew that!
My boyfriend loved them, though... but he'll eat anything!
