Always a hit with the family. Even better with blue cheese dressing as a topper. Delicious the next day, too!

Overall, this is a good base recipe for buffalo sloppy joes. However, for this to be a five star recipe, it needs more hot sauce (as it currently reads, the heat and flavor is very weak and I'm not a super hot sauce fan. Also, as others have stated, the mixture comes out very watery.

Really good and very healthy/easy. My husband didn't love the pickles or the celery and carrots though. I think this recipe would be better without those fillers.

My family loved these! I halved the recipe, and just did a few minor things differently. After reading some of the reviews, I chose to omit the chicken stock entirely. I followed the rest of the recipe as written, but the sauce looked too loose for my taste, so I dumped the rest of the 8 oz can of tomato sauce into pan. After simmering it for a few minutes, it still wasn't thick enough to sit on a bun, so I stirred about 1 tsp of tomato paste into the sauce. I simmered that a few more minutes and it was perfect. Everyone ate it, which was a bonus, so this is going into the meal rotation for sure.

    This was really good!

I would make the sauce thicker next time, it was too watery. I'll decrease the amount of broth and maybe add tomato paste as well to make it a bit thicker to stick to the chicken.

    Thank you!

Once again Rachel Ray has taken a classic and made it unique, and healthy too. I used dill relish instead of diced pickles and served it on buttered french hamburger rolls. DELICIOUS!

Love this recipe! I have made them as Nacho's. Put them on tortilla chips with some shaved cheese melted over top.
