Really tasty. Made it with turkey hot dogs to make it a little healthier and nobody even noticed... Husband really liked it and he usually doesn't like Sloppy Joe's. I'll definately make it again!

My son has been making a recipe very similar to this for years, he calls em "sloppy dogs" and serves on hot dog buns. He makes a big batch for the snack nights at bowling and he never has leftovers!

yeah! SO GOOD! to make it more "grown up" I used spicy Italian sausage in lieu of hot dogs and sauted some tomato, onion and green peppers together which I folded into the meat before adding the sauce mixture

Easy and quick, its the best if you like sloppy! I added some Emeral hamburger seasoning to the elk hamburger while browning and followed the recipe to the t, it came out perfect.

Quick, easy, and tasty. Did not have Montreal seasoning on hand so I used Mesquite mix and still tasted great.

THIS...WAS....DELICIOUS!!!! If you're at all concerned about the salt content, McCormick sells a low sodium Montreal Steak Seasoning. It has great flavor and the hot dogs add something to it. It's like a chili dog on a bun. Well done, Rachael!

This recipe was just OK, not 5 stars, and I even left out the hotdogs. Luckily, I didn't add salt in the beginning because I was concerned it would be too salty. Slowly adding salt during the cook was a good idea for this one.
