Grandson loves it! A big hit with kids who are picky eaters!

This was a fantastic meal. I used ground turkey and went a little heavy on the steak seasoning. This is a staple meal for my family now.

I changed it a little not much and my family really enjoyed it. My daughter who was in tears because she didn't want to eat it, ate her the whole thing. Even my husband who said "eewww" hot dog's?.. He ate 3! What I changed was omitted the onion, I only added 2 tbls of brown sugar and added Lawry' seasoning to the beef. I haven't tried Sloppy Joes since I was in Kindergarten and I hated it. But this recipe has found it's way into my menu!

I changed it up some. I used 1/3 ground Chuck, 1/3 ground Brisket, 1/3 ground skirt steak. I added green peppers, onion, garlic and chopped celery. Some ketchup, tomato paste and 3 jalapenos!!! No hot dogs. Not a fan of them. But this was awesome!

I have to say I love Rachael Ray but some of her receipes are a little weird. I was hesitant to try this one because my husband isn't really a BIG fan of sloppy joe's and b/c i didn't understand why the hotdogs in this, but I was in the mood for something different so I tried it anyways. They were SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! My husband loves sloppy joes now but only this way. It makes you wonder why you ever used manwich in the first place.

We all enjoyed this kids and hubby. It even was better the next day I will keep this for b-day parties and use it in a slowcooker for football games. I did mix in some ketchup (3 Tbs. and a dash or two of hotsauce some thing I learned From Rachael herself, couldn't belive it wasn't in it. This is a keeper!
