Very tasty my mother does all the cooking and I must in all my years I have never seen her sit in front of the tv the way she does to watch Rachel Ray and write down everything she see's to cook.

Makes 16 servings, was different and good.I had my husband start 2 large pots of water boiling before I arrived home and once home, I ran like a bunny around kitchen and finished in 40 minutes plus bake time, and I am fast and experienced.
It was delicious. I changed a few things to cut cost and make easier.
I substituted cottage cheese it’s cheaper, beef broth/didn't have an open bottle of white wine,28 oz. can diced Hunt's tomatoes,8 oz can Hunt's tomato paste with garlic, oregano and basil
Bertolli 4-cheese Rosa sauce in a jar ($2.60 rather than making the white sauce for top that way I did want to buy parm-reg.- too costly. I did add a pinch of nutmeg into the rosa sauce while heating it up. I used mozzarella cheese on top when I baked it.Filled 3 pyrex bowls with layers lightly poured Rosa sauce over the three filled bowls. Topped with cheese. Covered/baked 15 min.@350.Uncovered and finished off with 4 min. on broil. Served with salad & Red wine.Cost approx. $20

I thought I would never complete a meal in 30 minutes it always takes me longer but I was so close on this one!! I always make my own sauce so this was a nice change! I didnt follow to a "T" but my family liked it!! I made half since there is only 3 of us!!! I added some shredded italian cheese blend on the top!! YUMMY!!!

I enjoyed the blend of flavors, but this meal was not made in 30 minutes. The meat sauce is the longest portion of the recipe and if you made it in advance you could put the recipe together within 30 minutes without a problem. This is a large recipe and I used two 8x11 pans to cook it. I added a 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to each pan along with the ricotta cheese, in my opinion it isn't lasagna without mozzarella cheese. I will make this recipe again but I will make the meat sauce in advance.

I usually like most of Rachael's recipes, but this one wasn't worth the time investment. It took far longer than 30 to prepare and cook and the flavor, even with it a little pumped up, just wasn't that great. Plus, it re-aired in the middle of summer and was just the wrong recipe for a 103 degree day! Silly me. Maybe I'll try it again this winter!

I was very disappointed in this recipe. The meat sauce had very little flavor and the dish as a whole was very bland. I will not try it again

I found this recipe very easy to use - you can use any meat which is so great. Have made the old fashioned type of Lasagna but don't like the amount of time it takes and mine always falls apart when I serve it. This Lasagna is wonderful - tastes great - and went over in a big way with my family. No left overs with this recipe. Thank you Rachel!!

I found the lasagna really bland. I think it is a good base recipe and could be spiced up, however. I will use it again but with a twist. I had never made homemade lasagna before and found this recipe a bit involved...however, I will know what to expect next time.

Terrific for a crowd. Made it three times, all to rave reviews. First time I used the sauce recipe, second time a good punched up canned sauce - saved a ton of time and liked it better. Third time, absent lasagna in the larder, used farfalle and added some sliced sauteed sweet Italian sausage and a little grated mozzarella on top of the ricotta layer. Fantastic! It's the cheesy white sauce that makes the dish.

I did not like the lasagna at all, it just didn't taste like lasagna to me, but my husband did like it. Threw over half of it away. will never use this recipe again
