This was a huge miss for me. The texture just comes out weird, and the flavors aren't right for green peas. Quite a disappointment, will not make again.

We really liked this dish. I did have trouble mashing the peas. I found that a fork worked best. I also substituted orange zest for the lemon zesst and I would do it again. This isn't something you can eat a lot of. It is rich but I thought it had lots of flavor. The orange zest gave it a sweet tone. I would definitely make this again.

I can't get my husband to eat much vegetables beyond peas & corn, so I tried this. Too boring of a dish, unfortunately. I tried it a second time adding some whipping cream to try to make it more interesting, but that didn't help much. Ricotta cheese simply doesn't have much flavor to it so the dish turns out bland.

This recipe is great when you are in a fix and need to whip something up with stuff around the kitchen, especially when you have leftover ricotta from your lasagna and peas in the freezer! Great side dish.

I was just looking for something simple and found this easy recipe! I've already made it twice this week. Don't skip the lemon zest, it adds a great freshness.

This is delicious--I don't understand the 'bland' reviews.

I tried this recipe and found it to be relatively bland. I love peas, but this one just misses the mark. The ricotta is overpoweringly creamy with the peas and the dish could use tons more lemon flavor. This recipe would be better if you used maybe 2/3 or 1/2 the amount of ricotta, and more lemon zest and onion (I used shallots as well. I still couldn't eat more than a few bites - this is something you might put a small scoop of on the side.

Delicious recipe! This is the grown up version of mixing your peas and mashed potatoes.I also stuffed large (cooked pasta shells with the mixture, put in a skillet,(covered topped with marinara and parmesan, and simmered in a bit of chicken broth on the stove for about 10 minutes.'Yumm-O!'

I made this recipe for company and everyone raved about it.

I sliced Italian bread, toasted it, and placed this on the bread - delicious!

I like this recipe a lot...though I had a lot of trouble "smashing" the peas with the other ingredients. I used a wooden spoon as well as a potato masher. The dish was very good anyway!
