I'm not sure about the cream cheese.. It didnt add very much flavor. I usually just add butter, some cream and roasted garlic and it tastes better. They still got eaten up though and my husband liked this with the meatloaf.

Following this recipe--I found the scallions over ran the potatoes. I will use less next time, add butter, more milk , flavored cream cheese & possibly garlic
salt. I agree with the previous reviewers to these additions for more balanced flavor. Great foundation and the possibilities are endless.

I am an amateur cook that took this recipe on and enjoyed incredible success with it. I took RR's advice from the show & added a vegetable enhanced cream cheese (onion & chive. My girlfriend and I were equally impressed with the results. Among the best tasting mashed potatoes we've ever had. Best believe we'll be making this recipe come Thanksgiving!

I made these potatoes according to the recipe along with Rachel's muffin meatloaf. Tasty but the cream cheese flavor was perfectly subtle when paired with the extremely flavorful meatloaf. I used whole milk and will probably add more next time to make them more creamy. Very easy to make and will definitely be a repeat in my house!

These were easy to make and my DH loved them. He does not get enthusiastic about food very often, so when he says make it again, I know I have a winner.

I didn't think that the cream cheese would be good in the mashed potatoes but it was. The flavors were great and nice and creamy. It was simple and easy to make.

Very creamy and wonderful flavor. I make them with green onions instead of chives and my whole family has fallen in love with them!!
