Quick and easy, as it's intended to be. The sandwiches are great. You just have to be careful with the peppers. Great for a quick weeknight meal.

I cut back the broth in half based on other reviews. I did not make the slaw but the beans were so delicious. My boyfriend who hates baked beans really liked it. I used two of the peppers so it would not be so spicy and I would recommend not putting in the zest. It becomes to overwhelming with the orange flavors

I liked how the sauce tasted, but there was a problem with the sauce being a bit thin. I'd recommend either cutting back on the chicken broth or having tomato paste on hand to thicken up the sauce, if need be. That being said, it was a good recipe and I suggest that you give it a try!

I tripled this recipe for a party that I had yesterday with approx. 20 guests. So glad that I read the reviews before trying it for the first time. The one thing that I DID NOT triple was the chipotle peppers. I added 5 and it was more than spicy.
This recipe gives you a nice strong orange flavor on the tongue at first bite and then finishes with a little kick from the peppers. Wonderful.....only one of my guests said anything about the spiciness on the finish. If your friends and family do not like spicy food I would skip this one. I LOVE it and will use it again and again. By the way, I didn't make sandwiches. I just used the sauce on my chicken and grilled and served.

I love this BBQ sauce, we make it very spicy and have tried it on just about everything! We have even put it in our meatball recipe and had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner! Amazing! Keeps well in the fridge or freezer too!

I loved thid dish, I made just the sandwich though. I have made it many times over the years. I was having a large group of people over (about 40 and decided to precook all the chicken shred it then put it in a crock pot with the sauce and a plate with lettuce and onions. Very easy way for all to make thier own sandwiches so I could enjoy everyone. Was a huge hit! Great shreded sandwich: Yummy!!!!!!!!!! Note: I used small dinner rolls/slider size beacuse I knew there would be some much other food coming. for my family I use bigger buns.

I tried the entire meal except for the slaw and it was all just ok. The chicken was good but I couldn't say it would be making this again. Maybe I did something wrong because normally I love everything that Rachel does.

I used pork loin instead of chicken breast because I think the meat is more flavorful and I knew it would marry well with the sweetness of the orange and the barbecue sauce (what's more classic than barbecue pork?. It was SOOOO good you really tasted the orangey and smokey flavors in the barbecue sauce smothering moist, succulent, juicy slices of pork. The lettuce is a must for a bit of cruch in the sandwich. We served it on fresh hoagie rolls which was delicious. I did make a few modifications to the BBQ sauce: first and foremost, I only used 1 1/2 chipoltles (next time I will decrease to only one, b/c while it was not REALLY spicy, I would like to drench it in bbarbecue sauc without worrying about how hot it is. I also added a tablespoon each of molasses and apple cider vinegar (they belong in ALL barbecue sauces and decreased the chicken broth a bit. We served it with a mediterranean orzo salad (salad and sandwhich night at our house which was just perfect. With a few small changes this was AMAZING I would give it five stars all the way, but my hubby was quite as excited as I was about it, so I'll tone it down to a four. Overall incredible, quick, and SOOO healthy too!

I was very excited to try these recipes. All three recipes had an interesting combination of ingredients. The chicken had too much orange for me. The beans were nothing special and the slaw was a little off.
