I made this for me and my husband . He had some and said it was very good. My son came by and had 2 big helpings and also said it was very good. I think it is very very good.
I plan on making this in Dec. when our church hosts about 30 homeless people for one week. I volunteer to cook their meal for one evening. I am sure this will warm them up and also fill them up.
I will make it for my family also.

I always look for different recipes for comfort food. This one wasn't one of them. The mashed potatoes were too liquidy and the turkey part wasn't that great it had no flavor. Will just stick with my tired and true Shepherds pie recipe.

This tastes like chicken pot pie only with a potatoe crust, which is much better. This did take longer than 30 minutes but I enjoyed it.

I used ground chicken instead of turkey. Left out the bacon and sour cream, just because I didn't have any on hand. No problems with it being "runny" and I used 2 cups of broth. It turned out great! Easily feeds 4 people. Another keeper. Thanks Rachael!

A meal worth making any time of the year. Two thumbs ups.

Though the recipe was easy to follow, it seemed too watery and bland when the final product was made. Sorry :(

My family and I thought this was pretty good. I did cook the vegetables a while before I added the turkey so they would have long enough to cook, didn't add as much chicken stock, and doubled the thyme and smoked paprika. We will have this again.

I was looking for a way to use my leftover roast turkey and came upon this. I substituted cooked shredded turkey breast for the ground turkey and increased the EVOO to 3 T, then took others advise to reduce chicken broth to 1.5 c and it was delicious! I will definitely be making this again! It did take me over an hour to make though...

Granted, this might be because of something I did wrong, but the dish was very watery and looked gross. It also took me about an hour to do - even with a lot of pre-chopped veggies. The flavor was pretty good. It makes a ton and was better the next day.
