Like other reviewers, this was my first try with kale and I love it! I used pre-sliced mushrooms and chop the kale to bit sized pieces. In addition I added pico-de gallo which gave it a little kick and used some white wine. I loved it and will do this more often. Delicious!

Like other reviewers, this was my first try with kale and I love it! I used pre-sliced mushrooms and chop the kale to bit sized pieces. I de-glaze the pan with chicken broth instead of marsala. I serve this over white rice all the time and it's a great side dish!

I've never made kale before but this sound good so I gave it a shot. I didn't have marsala wine so I just used some white wine in the fridge. Oh man... it was AWESOME. I loved it. I will definitely make this again. I tend to get stuck in a rut of making the same veggies all the time and I'm happy to add this to the mix.

I DECIDED TO MAKE THIS AS ONE OF MY SIDES FOR MY CHRISTMAS DINNER AND IT WAS SO DELIOCIOUS, THO INSTEAD OF MARSALA, I USED CREAM SHERRY WINE. THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT SOME OF US HAD SECONDS AND THIRDS. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. A TASTY SIDE INDEED OR A GREAT VEGATARIAN MEAL... YUMMY YUMMMY YUMMY... I WILL MKE IT AGAIN!!!!!

I made this for myself and thought I would be able to have it for a couple of meals but my daughter stopped by and that was the end of the Kale. She loved it as much as I did. This will become a staple at our table.

This was the first time I have ever made kale and it won't be the last. This dish was fantastic. I didn't have a lid that was the right size for the actual smothering, but it worked anyway and it was good. I had friends over who never had kale before either and they all enjoyed it too.

My boyfriend never had kale before and now he requests it all the time. Substituted regular white mushrooms for the crimini b/c they can be a little pricey if they're not on sale. Either way, it was fantastic!! This will definitely go into our regular rotation! Can't wait to try with a few substitutions that others have suggested like Marsala or balsamic.

Never cooked with Kale before, never had it, but have meant to make this recipe since last August, and finally got around to making it last night. The four of us loved it. I wouldn't change a thing.
