I like the recipe but I wanted to expand on the idea of it, so I bought 3 more sorbets and several tubs of icecream, about 8. I wanted my kids to really get a "salad bar" feel, like the recipe says, to "have it their way." I brought in all the right toppings, no butterscotch. Word to the wise: jimmys don't mix well with sorbet.

I was in the frozen food section at my local Safeway gazing at the rows upon rows of sorbets, yogurts, gelatos, and your run-of-the-mill icecreams. I like choice, but maybe there's too much choice these days. Are we being led into a system where no one is there say "enough is enough"?

I might do this recipee again but 5 pints of sorbet and 8 buckets of icecream might be a bit of an overdose on the sugar intake. I wish only that I did not buy jimmys because they do not mix well with sorbet.

Another "recipe"... Can the webmaster please change this to "article" instead?

Also "the 'R' word" is banned in NJ. Please pick a different word.
