These turkey burgers were amazing. Nice change of pace from red meat. For a topping I made an avacado salsa, which worked perfectly. My fiance said this is the best thing he's tried in awhile, so it was definetely a success and we're already planning to make these again soon.

These burgers are spicy and big! I don't think there's any need for the bacon. I would gladly omit it. My only complaint would be that there are a number of ingredients in it and it takes some time to throw together. But I liked this recipe so much, I multiplied it times 12 and froze single portion sizes in small bags. You can defrost the individual bags in minutes and mix it in with ground turkey. It is so simple and taste as fresh as Rachel's recipe. I like putting a healthy table spoon of pepper relish (from Harry and Davids on the burger and melting the cheese over the relish to hold it in place. I also spread a dab of dijon mustard on the bun.

If you omit the bacon and use a low-fat cheese, this is a pretty healthy burger with tons of flavor!

Whew-wee these were some spicy burgers. I liked them very much. Easy and tasty but I would like them more if they weren't quite that hot. The recipe says "1 or 2 Tsp of Tabasco" so I put in one but next time I will leave it out completely for my taste. Especially with the pepper jack cheese on top. On second thought, Maybe some of the heat would have been lessoned had I added the sweet relish (I didnt have that on hand so I left it out I used Weber's Kickin' Chicken grill seasoning, which I thought worked well. The burgers brown up really nicely if you do what Rachel always says on her show: Put it in the pan and let it cook, dont move it around and mess with it. 5 min per side and you will get nice brown burgers. I cant wait to try these again w/o the Tabasco and with the relish. Yum-O

Im not a big Rachel Ray recipe fan, but I gotta tell ya that this is an exceptional turkey burger recipe. They actually taste better the next day and I have made them for cook outs and family get togethers. My family loves these and I have shared this recipe many times.

These were a great twist on standard turkey burgers. I made a few minor modifications - I used 4-5 slices of jarred jalapeno peppers instead of a fresh one, and instead of grill seasoning, I used Greek seasoning simply because it was what I had on hand. They were fantastic!! I don't recommend topping it with any pepper jelly though. I spread a small amount on my burger and thought it made a too spicy (and I love spicy!. I had one without it for leftovers the next day, and it was perfect!

My boyfriend is hard to please when it comes to burgers...and he absolutely loved them! He said it was one of the best burgers he ever ate. I actually made it a little juicier by adding beef to the turkey. Anyway, the flavors were terrific. I highly recommend this burger :

This burger is delicious! While we were dieting I stumbled upon this recipe when I was really craving a delicious burger. It has tons of flavor and you don't feel like you are missing a thing. We ditch the extra calories in the bacon - you don't even need it to make this a delicious meal. It has become a staple meal in our house that I would recommend to anyone - especially someone looking to cut a few calories.
