I have made this meatball recipe over and over using my own sauce. Everyone loves the meatballs, they are simple and just the right amount of spices. Kids loved them.

The first time I tried this recipe, my kids and their friends ate it all! I received a great compliment from them even though it was my first time.

I loved the sauce. I actually made a double-batch and it wasn't thin at all. Will make again!

I made the meatballs with ground turkey instead, and my family really liked them. It was quick to prepare and they tasted great. My picky son even ate them. I only made the meatballs, so I can't speak for the sauce, but I will make again.

This was my very first time making meatballs! They were extremely easy to make and the tase was excellent! My husband loved it too! I baked according to directions, but then I simmered in tomato sauce for about 1/2 hour.

Compared to other, more complicated, meatball recipes this one was fantastic. I cheated and didn't make the sauce but they still turned out great.

I would have given this recipe 5 stars if it were just for the meatballs; they were delicious! I didn't care much for the spaghetti sauce. Next time I will use store bought spaghetti sauce instead, because I really like the flavor of it.

I have made this full recipe once and the meatball recipe several times. I LOVE the meatball recipe. It's so simple to make and it is fail safe. I use turkey ground meat instead of beef. It makes no difference. I have even used a 1/2 ground chicken, 1/2 ground turkey mix. I often buy the ground turkey four pack at Costco and make a very large batch (100 meatballs and then freeze them in vacuum packs in quantities of 10 to used later. My husband calls them "little protein energy balls." They are great as a snack for busy professionals on the run.
