I am an excellent cook who traditionally makes horrible meatballs. I kept trying but they always came out dry or mushy and definitely tasteless. These are very flavorful, not mushy, not dry. When I tasted one I was expecting my usual disappointment and was pleasantly surprised that I actually made a yummy meatball that I will be forever proud to serve. They were tasty on their own without requiring the speghetti sauce or gravy to make them so. I used garlic & butter flavored croutons that I crushed into smaller pieces and some of the pieces were actually small chunks and it still was wonderful. I also used minced garlic from a jar rather than fresh which was also fine. I doubled the recipe and doubled the ingredients without issue. I will definitely make these again and again.

Loved it. I found the sauce to be thin too and added half a jar of ragu spaghetti sauce since that's all I had but next time I'll add a can of tomato paste to thicken it up. I cooked with 1/2lb ground sirloin and 1lb Italian sausage, took them out from their casing for meatballs and added more garlic yum.

Love this! I followed the recipe as written. The meatballs are amazing. The sauce is good too. My family has asked me to make this again real soon. We have a new family favorite recipe. Thanks!

I made this last night for my dinner, and it was very tasty. I wish the sauce was a little bit thicker, but the taste was definitely there.

I like this recipe but I would like it more if the sauce was a little thicker, any suggestions???
