Did not make the rice, but thought the chicken was delicious. Will probably double sauce next time!!

These were great and a nice change from the normal chicken cutlet. I didn't make the rice though because it wasn't something that my whole family would eat. I just made the run of the mill spanish style rice and some green beans.

This was tasty but lacked something. I believe it was salt. Then after reading the previous reviews I realized I did not add the orange slices to sauce. It was not listed as an ingredient. They should really correct this recipe as one ingredient can throw off the whole dish. Family still liked it. Also made the rice (used marinated artichokes and red pepper saute in olive oilit went well with the dish.

Didn't cook the rice, but the chicken was delicious! The sherry sauce really livens up the dish.

As written this was a great and DIFFERENT recipe. There must be a billion ways to cook chicken and rice, this has flavor and style! I saw the show and knew to saute the orange slices then add the Sherry and butter, the orange slices tasted wonderful! I will double the sauce next time, it was that good. My family really enjoyed the unique flavor of this meal.

I watched this episode last week and couldn't stop thinking about it, so I had to make it. I had nearly everything listed in the recipe on hand, so I made it this evening. The chicken was good. I liked the breading, although the cutlets were ungainly and hard to manage. Next time, I would just cut them in half and they would cook more evenly in addition to being easier to work with. The rice was not as tasty as I would have hoped and thought it was missing something, but I couldn't figure out what. I did add salt and pepper in addition to the thyme, but it still was only "meh" to me. My husband liked the rice. I was SUPER disappointed that the orange was not listed in the recipe ingredients and had to dash to the market nearby to grab an orange for the sauce. If it would have been listed, I would have grabbed one when I was at the store yesterday! It wouldn't have tasted nearly as good without the oranges, although if I had orange juice I would rather have used that, as the oranges were just picked off once poured on the chicken. I would make the chicken again, but not the rice.

I loved this recipe, but the rice was a little bland. Next time, I'll be sure to add ample salt & pepper, maybe garlic powder or lemon juice too?
