Great breading, yummy sauce, and good rice. I added the oranges to the sauce, and a bit of chicken stock to stretch it. Thanks.

tried it tonight. Excellent! Both the chicken and rice were SO good. Used leftover rice and added the other ingredients. The sauce added just the right touch. I guess you have to like the flavor of sherry.

This dish is easy to prepare, tastes delicious, and has lots of color on the plate! I quartered a can of artichoke bottoms rather than using the frozen ones. The breading stays on the chicken during cooking and there is enough down-time while the chicken and the rice are cooking to keep the kitchen tidy. Also, the two dishes go together perfectly!

This is one of the best recipes I have had in a long time. My husband and neighbor (both big he men, they say, would not have an artichoke anywhere around them, let alone know what it is. I made the rice with marinated peppers,
artichoke and olives in a jar together. Cut them up fairly fine mixed in the rice, followed the recipe. Rave reviews from the men, now I have to make it all the time!! The chicken I butterflied the breast completely in half. Coated the chicken as Rachel said, but I fried them (not bake and they were out of this world. Terrific the next day with the rice, I got rave reviews!!!!!!

The almond coating on the chicken was outstanding(great concept. I think the coating wounld be great with veal or pork also. Instead of orange slices I added orange juice which really gave the sauce a nice flavor.

Relatively easy preparation; chicken was very tasty and rice ROCKED! The sauce (butter/sherry was awful and I didn't even serve it.

The chicken was pretty good. It took me a long time to get it made, though, and I ended up with a lot of leftover crumb mixture that I felt wasted too many almonds. Although it was tasty the first night, it wasn't very good as leftovers; although I reheated it in the toaster oven the crust was still soggy. If you're going to make it, try not to have leftovers.
