I didn't make the spiced coffee, but the Chutney & Cheese Spread got great reviews at a work potluck. I skipped the candied ginger (since I hate it but followed the rest of the recipe exactly - very yummy. I haven't seen Date Nut Bread for sale in our grocery stores, so I made my own in mini-loaf pans, which looked much prettier than cutting slices in half from a regular loaf pan.

We had a luncheon at my house and everyone loved the mango chutney. It was a big hit and extremely easy to make.

I made the spread and some homemade date nut bread for the Christmas potluck at my husband's office a couple of years ago. People were really interested in trying to figure out what was in it and many asked for the recipe. At the end of their lunch break, several of them called me. With the speaker phone on, they cheered my contribution.

This spread is unbelievably delicious and it got rave reviews with everyone who tried it. I made a basic date nut bread and had this as the spread. Yum!! I didn't not have the crystallized ginger, but it was still excellent. Highly recommended.
