Overall a pretty tasty dish, although I did adjust the recipe a little. I added some extra salt, doubled the crab (which was probably a little too much and crushed pepper. I also cut back the amount of vermicilli I used by about a 1/3. The sauce soaked in nicely to the noodles, but because there were less noodles, the flavor was probably a bit more concentrated.

The ingredients looked good...I added extra garlic, 16 ozs of crab, but it
wasn't a "make-it-again-mom" recipe. I'll check out some of your other
crab recipes and I''m sure I'll find one that will be a keeper.

This was very dissapointing. This was my first time trying out a Rachel Ray recipe (I can't stand to watch her show for too long--she's really irritating and this recipe doesn't leave me willing to try another one. Everything smelled good, looked good, but tasted so bland. It was not spicy in the least little bit and I even put in more than the recommended amount of red pepper flakes. Dissapointing Rachel Ray-- everyone talks her up... but thus far, the food doesn't.

I made it for my family today, and they all loved it including my teenage granddaughter who doesn't usually like seafood dishes. This is my "new favorite dish". Thanks!!

I didn't expect this combination of flavors to be such a big hit with my husband. He usually doesn't like pasta main dishes. There was plenty of spiciness to this and the crab was a surprising nice addition!

I thought it was pretty good. I would double the amount of crab and add more seasoning.

I forgot the basil at first, but then went back and added it... don't miss it, it makes the entire recipe so much better! My only complaint was that it WAS a bit bland, especially before I added the basil, but even after as well. I'd try frying up some of the vermicelli just to give it some texture.

Overall, my husband and I enjoyed this recipe. The store was out of 1/2 lb containers of crab, so I bought a entire pound and just used half. Honestly, I wish I'd used the entire thing - being from Maryland, the 1/2 pound wasn't "crabby" enough for us. Also, I think a couple of Tbsp of capers would be a great addition to this recipe - just a few to punch up the flavor, but not overpower the crab. I'll probably make it again.

This was an awesome recipe and so easy!! I opted not to use the red pepper flakes (I just prefer less hot/spicy food. But everyone loved it and asked for the recipe! Definitely a winner!
