There is nothing really wrong with this recipe, but make sure you really love the taste of fennel, because it can be overpowering.

I adapted this for a meal. I used 1 lb of 51-60 count shrimp, and halved the spices and lemon. It's sooooo yummy. I made steamed carrots tossed in evoo, sea salt and dill. I also made Sunny Anderson's cheesy popovers. My husband raved about everything!

This dish was so tasty and easy to make! My husband and two kids (ages 14 and 10 loved it! Maybe just a little less lemon zest for my 10 yr old. I will definitely make this again. Thanks Rachael!!

These were really good, tasted just like Italian sausage! I don't like eating whole bits of seed so I put the fennel in a little bag and crushed it up a bit before using. Very good, highly recommended!

I could not believe how absolutely delicious these were. We made these to take to a New Year's Eve party and they were gone within minutes. So so easy and tasted so great. Since my husband and I are not fans of fennel I opted to leave it out and added just a touch more garlic. The lemon juice at the end added a little kick and finished them off to perfection. Glad it was so easy as I will make this recipe over and over again.

Thanks Rachael this one's a winner.

I used these shrimp as a main dish served over rice. I did remove the tails for easier eating. My husband loved them.

This recipe is a winner. The shrimp are very flavorful. Moreover, the recipe is very easy to execute and takes very little time. This is the perfect appetizer when you've done a more difficult entree and therefore don't want to spend a lot of time on the appetizer.
