Yum. This was really tasty but needed quite a but of salt.

I have used this recipe many times since first printing it out in Sept 2010. This is great on its own and I have added different ingredients for other variations. My favorite being, roasted red peppers and hot curry paste for a extra spicy version. Roasted vegetables also make for a great flavor. As for the thick texture, I just drizzle in more olive oil with the processor running until it smooths out. Rachel Rocks!

This recipe is very good. You just need to add enough water to make it creamy. I added cayenne for extra spice. It's one of the best hummuses I've made.

This recipe is great! I definitely think that thinning it with the liquid from the beans is necessary. I also added a splash of sriracha to give it good dose of spicy. Cayenne would be awesome in this also!

This is very good hummus with a couple of adjustments: We didn't drain the chickpeas & added only a teaspoon of olive oil to keep fat & calories down at least a little while keeping some liquid in to thin it. We also doubled ALL of the seasonings and the red pepper flake, plus we added a fair sprinkling of cayenne... THEN it was Spicy Hummus! Good basic recipe that you can adjust to taste.

Very flavorful hummus. If the consistency of the hummus is a little dry you may need to add and additional squeeze of lemon and a bit more olive oil. The spices were perfect.

Easy to make but by the time it was hummus consistency there was way too much olive oil and that is all we could taste. I'm going to try another recipe.

This was very dry and just didn't have much flavor. I followed the recipe. I interpreted a drizzle of oil to be about 1 teaspoon. It was dry, so then I added some sesame oil and additional crushed chili. It was still very dry. I think that it definitely needs significantly more oil. Also more of the spices would help.

Great hummus on it's own or used as a base to make other hummus styles. My favorite is to add a roasted red pepper.
