This is the best hummus dip ever! Way better than store bought, and so easy to make. After reading the reviews, I added about half the liquid from the canned chick peas, and added a half of a roasted red pepper (bought in a jar, and it was perfect! I did use the tahini paste, but I think that could be easily substituted with peanut butter. Great and easy dish for a party or gathering!

I make this recipe often, for company or just for family. I often use peanut butter instead of tahini, since I always have PB in the house, and it is a less expensive ingredient. Tastes great either way.

I didn't have tahini or corriander, doubled the garlic, and added a little of the chick pea juice to make it smoother. Still came out delicious!!! DEF will replace this with store bought!

This is just a great basic recipie - I didn't have the corriander so I used the following spices and changes:
Smoked Paprika
Whole Lemon
3 cloves garlic
Chili Pepper Flakes
Salt + Pepper
It was honestly amazing. Pat myself on the back!

This was a perfect hummus recipe! I added a little more red pepper for spice and drizzled some olive oil on top when I put the bowl out. Everyone loved it!

This recipe is way off on its measurements. The hummus is way too thick and dry-- it needs more liquid. Also, it's not really all that "spicy" as it claims to be.

This recipe is so amazing that it blows store bought hummus out of the water! I will never be able to eat the stuff again. This hummus had so much flavor and was so easy to made that I am completely sold on this recipe. I threw some diced up kalamata olives, pine nuts, and feta on top...great for snack or a light lunch. Thanks, Rachel!

This is a great basic hummus. I did modify the recipe a bit. I used the juice of a whole lemon, as the hummus was a bit thick. A little EVOO helped thin the hummus, too. I can see how this would be very tasty with roasted red peppers. I have to say, this recipe made a generous amount of hummus, which can be kind of pricey to buy in the grocery store. All in all, I am very happy to have this recipe and anticipate that I will be making it often. It's a hit! And very easily thrown together in the middle of the week. Thanks Rachael!

I've been searching for a good hummus recipe, and this one is my favorite by far! Other recipes I've tried usually have an after-taste to them. I think the tahini paste and the cumin and coriander really make this dish taste delicious!
Adjustments: I used fresh garbanzo beans instead of canned (soaked them overnight, cooked them the day of. The hummus was pretty thick, as others have stated, so I added in more olive oil.
