We love this recipe!! I use cheddar cheese instead of blue cheese because we are not big blue cheese fans. My entire family raves about this shephards pie.

Took me about 60 min to make. Meat needed more seasoning. The mashed potatoes were awesome.

This is a very tasty dish. In a nod to the traditionalists in my family, I added a cup of frozen peas, thawed. For those who would use instant potatoes in this dish, I ask: would you substitute a Mercedes with a Traubi/Trabant?

Yesterday I saw you on TV, I prepared the same recipe using cauliflower. I am diabetic, potatoes are not good for me. ¡Delicioso! ¡Excellent! Thank you, Girlfriend.

The whole family loved this meal. The children do not like blue cheese, so I just didn't tell them...they didn't even know, and even complimented the dish. Added green onions when dish was finished for a little added flair, but otherwise followed recipe to a "T".
NOTE: Due to adding so many flavors to potatoes, instant could be substituted to speed up recipe.

not a bad recipe. I used instant potatoes it worked very well. The gravy had to be thicker for me and my girls. I gave it my twist and it work very well. It did take a little longer than I thought it would.

The meat was great, and the sauce was great, however the blue cheese in the potatoes made it really sour. i am not sure how to fix it except try it again without it?!

My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. Very tasty. My husband doesn't like onions or blue cheese, so I left those out. It took me just about an hour to make it from peeling the first potato to sitting down to eat. I will definitely make again!

I prepared this for my family about 3 weeks ago. WE LOVED IT 100%. Even my children 9, 4 and 2 loved it. It took me about an hour to prepare it from start to finish. Didn't bother me at all. And in place of the sirloin i used ground chuck. I had to use more gravy so that it wouldn't be dry. But it was fabulous. I will make this again. And the potatoes...they left me speechless...the bacon, the chives, the blue cheese, the sour cream....WOW!!
