I made this because it was quick and I had some something similar at a restaurant. I made this for a Christmas dinner. I personally didn't think it was as good as the dip I had at a restaurant, but my guests went crazy over it and wanted the recipe! I will make it again!

When I first tasted the finished product, before adding salt and pepper, I thought it bland, as other reviewers have noted. Salt (and some pepper helped bring out the flavors wonderfully, and everyone thought it was the best, "freshest-tasting" dip they'd had. I'll certainly make this again, and salt to taste!

I made this once instead of the one I normally make (Paula Deen's recipe substitute mozzarella cheese for pepper jack and was disappointed with the flavor. Tasted wierd, was bland, and was not as creamy as the baked one. Try Paula's recipe, it's much better. Sorry Rachael

This was good, but I guess i expected alittle more sauciness too it. Ti did taste really good though, even if it was a little surprizing.

I made this dip for a dinner party my husband and I were hosting...our guests enjoyed it, but I don't think it totally knocked their socks off. Next time I will probably omit the red pepper and add more artichokes.

Easy and delicious. I've made this recipe several times, always with great success. I usually cut it in half. If there are leftovers, I like to use them as the "subject" for Alton Brown's "refrigerator pie" (quiche recipe--also very easy.

The only problem with this recipe is that I want to eat the whole thing before I get to the party!

It was pretty easy to prepare, made it the night before, heated it in the microwave just before placing it in the bread bowl and it was perfect. Brought it to a party at work, it was gone within minutes.
