Rachael has done it! I have the typical house of picky eaters! I always feel like a short order cook and I cannot stand it! I wanted to find something that had the basic ingedients we all like separately and put them together.

I did not have the coriander (b/c I forgot and I do not think I was missing too much. I hid all the "good for you" stuff in the burger patty itself- onions, garlic, cumin, chili powder, I even added jalapenos! My 2 kids patties did not have the jalapenos, of course. I added provolone cheese to our burgers. This was so good that I might skip the extra carbs (a.k.a bread and add a light sauce or something. Speaking of suaces- I do not like guac so I completely left that out. GREAT job! I look forward to seeing how creative I can be with the leftovers!

I came across this recipe and didn't have all the ingredients so I had to modify it a bit. I used extra lean ground beef instead of turkey and black beans instead of pinto. I also didn't have any rice on hand. It was still excellent and very filling. The guacamole cream sauce was delicious - I did add some salt and pepper to it. My husband loved it and I can't wait to try the original recipe!

In twenty minutes, I had made a scrumptious dinner to which my boyfriend replied...."yup, we are definately getting married!" Follow the recipe and you will not be disappointed!

i LOVE these burgers! they stay moist (w/beans & rice... and the spice combination is perfect. WOW! i actually ended up making 7 smaller sized burgers instead of 4 monster-burgers and they were still a nice size (for us.

the sauce is AMAZING!! i did, however, include a few tablespoons of finely chopped fresh cilantro to it, as i had extra from the carrot / jicama slaw recipe. i found the cilantro to really add an extra YUM to the recipe, but we are BIG cilantro lovers!!

this is a new favorite recipe for us (along with the jicama carrot orange chipolte slaw recipe, and we will be coming back to it weekly or every other week, i expect.

    thanks rachael!

This might be one of the greatest burger recipes i have made - loaded with flavor and so easy! The spice combination is superb. This will definitely be on my regular rotation of easy go to recipes

I knew the minute I watched this episode it was a winner....went straight to the store and bought what I needed. WOW...we loved it! I followed the lead of a previous user/reviewer, Shari, and made the peach & mango salsa to go with it instead of the slaw. OUTSTANDING. Makes alot of burgers. I cut mine down to 6, and they were still humugus...I couldn't imagine how large they would be with only 4 from this recipe!

I used 99% fat free turkey breast, so I was a little nervous, but this was amazing. I wasn't too crazy about the avocado sauce by itself, but with the burger it was great! I used brown rice and added a touch of cayenne. I ended up not using a bun, because it was so good by itself. OMG, we will be making this once a week!! thank you Rachael Ray Also, my 2 year old ate every bite and said 'Delicious Mommy!!'

I would say this burger was by far one of the best I had had in a long time. very flavorful. I made them a little smaller then the recipe called for instead of 4 I made 5, it was perfect . After reading one of the other reviews I decided to make the mango & peach salsa with greek yogurt. What a great addition.I will make it for friends this summer. Thank you Rachael Ray
