This was fabulous! I had all of the ingredients including frozen fresh corn from last Sept. and fresh thyme from the garden. I did omit the pasta since it would be a tad too heavy with the overall meal of tri tip and baked potatoes. It was so much better than just plain corn. Everyone loved it! I will make it as a one-dish meal using the fettuccine in the future. Thank you, Rachel, for this awesome dish!!

while it was an easy dish to make, i just didn't like it very much. i didn't have that "wow! this is delicious." moment. i think i'd rather just let corn chowder be chowder and not pasta. on top of that it seems like a very unhealthy dish. sorry, rachael! not a winner for me :/

This was absolutely delicious! I saw this on a re-run a few months back & have been meaning to make it but wanted to wait until sweet corn was in season. I finally decided to try it last night & was skeptical at first since I'm a beginner cook but my boyfriend said it was delicious & requested I make it again. His 3 1/2 yr old son even ate his entire plate (which is a first since he can be a picky eater! I paired it w/homemade garlic mozzarella bread to make a simple Sunday evening dinner. I would recommend this to my friends for sure!

This is a WONDERFUL dish. Sweet from the corn, a little spicy, creamy, delicious! One of my husband's absolute favorite dishes I have made! :

I made all the dishes from the show for dinner tonight. We loved all of them. I used a 24 oz. pack of frozen corn and it was great.

I thought it was good almost thought you could use a couple of cans of cream style corn and do the same thing. My husband and I both liked it and said we would eat again. It was very rich and could see why you eat as a side, we eat it as a meal.

I tweaked this a little in that I used plain ole frozen corn and did not use any pepper. I also substituted garlic for the shallots. But it was DELICIOUS! My family ate it up and argued over the very last bit! There were no leftovers! I will definitely make this again!
