but a little plain. Also I could not find butter beans in any of my grocery stores, I used black beans instead.

This was a very easy salad to make. The light flavors were a great compliment to a filling hot dog. I will make this recipe again.

I have made this for two parties now and have been asked for the recipe each time by pretty much everyone who ate it. It takes 5 minutes to make, is economical, and tastes great. The butter beans are a nice variation from limas. I am anxious to try the black-bean and cilanto version a few people have written about.

Made this recipe when time was short. Gosh was it easy, excellent tasting, even better the next day. Folkd do add more vinegar as it gives a rich, bold taste. Thanks, Rachael

This was wonderful...easy to make. Delicious. If you like beans, I'd add more--I had an 8oz can and thought more beans would be better. I would let it sit for a few hours before serving.

I was skeptical about the combination of foods in this recipe, especially butter beans straight from the can, but I have made this a few times now and it always tastes fresh and delicious and it is so healthy!! Thank you Rachael Ray!

Now that we're getting into the summer weather I was looking for something cool & refreshing for a dinner side. I didn't have any butter beans, but I had black beans I wanted to use. You always say make it your own, so I did. I used the black beans with cilantro instead of parsley & added some banana peppers. It was a big hit & very easy. I've already added this to my recipe box!

I subbed black beans for the butter beans and cilantro for the parsley...it's still a great salad but also a great salsa!
