Great recipe. The fresh pico de gallo tasted very good. My cheese sauce didn't turn out well but I'm sure it was something I did wrong.

The seasoned beans were fine, but I could NOT force myself to add ground beef to nachos, as it would ruin the texture! But I sliced some leftover rare steak and added that, which was perfect. But the reason for my single star rating was that cheese sauce. Like grd beef, cheese sauce doesn't belong on nachos, even at a high school baseball game. Sorry, Rachael, you blew it with this one, although thanks to your photo, I did use a shallow earthenware baking dish instead of my usual foil-lined sheet pan.

Made these today and all I can say is Wow! Absolutely delicious. Didn't have the pepper sauce but they were still wonderful!

The filling for this was super tasty. It will be my new recipe for taco filling. Would not change anything. The pico was simple and tasty. I was not as crazy about the cheese sauce but that may simply be my problem and not the recipe's fault. I also chose to assemble the dish with chips on the side to avoid soggy chips. Thanks Rachael!

Amazingly delishhhhhhh, I didn't made cheese sauce, and layered nachos with aciago n cheddar (grated and meat(I dn't eat beef so used finely diced chicken breast made 3 layers and baked it for 15 mins and served with sour cream and salsa
Among me, my husband and his 2 cousins everything finished in 10 mins, thanks a lot for sharing such a wonderful recipe

Really tasty, used cheddar and a slice of hot pepper cheese to give it a kick. Continuing on a new year's resolution (eat less red meat, I omitted the sirloin and just added more beans (red kidney beans and great northern beans. I also added one minced clove of garlic to the salsa and an extra jalapeno. Can't wait to have it for lunch

this was a very good recipe, a must make again, the cheese sauce came out perfect, I used what cheese I already had (mild cheddar and the sauce came out perfect, but did add more shredded cheese to the sauce then what was recommended. They didn't get soggy because I let everyone plate their own. The meat was very tasty and flavorful.
