I was expecting more based on previous reviews, and was kind of disappointed. The cheese sauce was boring and kind of plain. It was alright, but I probably won't make it again. Just as a note- this makes a TON of nacho topping, more than plenty for four people.

This is excellant! I had leftover chips I needed something to do with, so decided to make nachos. I made some fresh guacamole and added green chiles, and instead of salsa, I added mexican diced tomatoes

I made this for the "big game" and it was pretty unanimous that we thought the cheese sauce kind of made it all bland.
I used a combination of cheddar and monterey jack and took the advice of a previous reviewer to use evaporated milk. It was nice and smooth and thick but tasted blah. We liked the seasonings and the black beans, as well as using three kinds of chips.
I would definitely go back to lots of shredded cheese, with a quick trip into the broiler, next time.

I made these for my boyfriend and I last night. There was enough for two big batches. I used regular milk to make the cheese sauce and it worked really well. My bf loved them! I will make these again!

Super easy and quick but also very yummy! The cheese sauce is like making your own white queso! For a healtier option, I use ground turkey instead of beef.

I have made this recipe many times and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The cheese sauce is my favorite part and takes it a notch up from just melted cheese on top.

i am giving this recipe 5 stars even though the cheese sauce came out grainy for some reason....probably my fault but i am going to search around for another nacho cheese sauce recipe anyway. everything else was great though!
