Followed recipe exactly except I started with a lot less sugar, but it was sour and bitter I kept adding more. It didn't help. Added garlic and a little steak sauce. No better. Hubby said the joes were bland. So forgettable, he forgot to eat the leftovers.
Usually I like Rachaels recipes--I don't know what went wrong on this one.

YUM. My boyfriend loved it and I love how easy it is to make! Per previous reviewers, I cut the amount of sugar by 1 tbs. It was perfect. Otherwise, I think it might have been too sweet. I also added more ground beef because I don't like it so saucy. Great recipe overall! This will be my go to meal for busy nights. :

Simple yet tasty recipe. I normally use ground buffalo, red onion as substitutes. Fry up some sweet potato fries and it's a quick easy weeknight dinner!

I love this recipe. It is definitely a great take on an old favorite. I serve it with home made french fries and bleu chesse cole slaw It is truly a comfort food. I have also served it over elbow macaroni or spaghetti with some garloc bread and that has gone over very well also.

This is the only sloppy joe recipe I use now. Full of flavor and so yummy. I use 2 lbs gr beef because my family likes it a little less saucy. I have even made them with ground turkey, still a hit.
