Easy! EASY! The tangy flavor given by the onions and peppers make this a favorite in my recipe box! Definitely not a soggy mess of sloppy joe. I didn't cook the onions/peppers until mushy soft, resulting in a little crunch with the soft meat and juices from the sauce. A nice combination. The second day of left overs was even better due to the "slop" being soaked up in the meat over night. Served on a warmed roll and slice of cheddar cheese, this recipe will make regular appearances on my dinner table!

This is a delicious sloppy joe recipe. Although, FYI, a regular hamburger bun, even though toasted, will not stand up. I did add fresh chopped garlic and siracha as some of the other reviewers suggested. I would suggest ciabatta to serve this excellent recipe. Rachael, you rock!!!

Oh My!! Hubby & I thought this was the best. No more sloppy joe's that taste like the can, yuck! Super easy to make and we had homemade mac salad with it...oh and hubby decided to have some Fritos with it and he loved dipping the Fritos in it. AWESOME Rachael!! :

This was easy and tasty, but mine was missing something, maybe needed more salt. I didn't have the McCormick brand seasoning so I made my own based on "Montreal Steak Seasoning" from food-dot-com site, otherwise made as recipe stated. I will definitely make again, maybe with more salt- my own fault- not recipe. Also I'll put large rings of bell pepper in so my kids can pull them out since they didn't like eating the peppers- kids can be so picky!. We had on ciabatta rolls. I recommend trying this recipe!

Absolutely our go-to Sloppy Joe recipe! I made a vat of it for a family get-together and I had one relative exclaim "That's the best chili I've ever had!". Seriously, it's so good, you could eat it like "stoup" (in Rachel's word.

My standby sloppy joe recipe. Super healthy if you add carrots, use lean meat and put on whole wheat rolls. Always delicious

This recipe was amazing! The egg salad pairs great with this dish...I did make a few tweaks to it though - added an egg, some celery, sugar, and a dash of white balsamic vinegar. I will definitely be putting this on the menu again!
