This is a great recipe! I added two teaspoons of chopped garlic and one 4oz can of chopped green chilis and WOW what a great flavor, just a little kick takes them over the top.
    Thanks Rachael

I have only made sloppy joes once before without the "packet"! I wanted something I hadn't cooked in a long time - so this was it ! The ingredients list looked interesting so I gave it a try! So simple and yet very " homey" tasting ! It was a hit with my husband who never says anything special about his dinners. He loves good food and said these were really great! I'm visiting with my daughter in NC and am going to make it tonight for her with leftovers later on for her boyfriend who is out of town. Twice in one week! My husband had it warmed up last night and loved it ! : I am a seasoned cook and don't write too many reviews on food but this was definitely worthy of a 5 ***** review ! Try it! :

It was a very good sloppy joe!!! Followed exactly & got rave reviews ... But for my own taste I'm going to add a little bit of heat to go w the sweetness of the dish!!! It's a keeper... Going to print it up & put it in the favorites binder!!! Next time I'm going to make the potato salad to go w it....

I am totally perplexed as to why this is rated highly. It was edible, but that's it.

Oh my gosh. My husband and I are freaking out about how good these were. We are vegetarian so we used soy crumbles in place of the meat. Also, added some chopped jalapeno and garlic with the onion and red pepper. WOW. We are making this one again for sure!

Had not had a sloppy joe since I was a kid. Felt like I was channeling my mom and my childhood! Great recipe and very easy! I didn't have red vinegar so I did white, and used ground turkey. Yummy, will totally make again!

I made this and it was editable. However, it was too much sloppy joe flavor over pasta. I could make a meal out of this. A side dish perhaps. I would not recommend this dish based on the overpowering flavor

This was wonderful! I used my favorite pasta sauce to replace the paste and sauce. I also used balsamic vinegar instead of worcester sauce. I also added some kidney beans. Any which way you prepare it, this one is a winner.
