I really loved this recipe and would definitely make it again. I used a little less brown sugar based on reviews, but would not do that again. The other changes I made were that I used 1 pound of ground beef and 1 15 oz can of Hunt's tomato sauce b/c that's what I had on hand. Very easy & delicious.

Thanks again Rachel for a great recipe. This one I make and freeze half for a busy weeknight. Only thing I do different is fry the vegs in the very beginning w/the meat. I just prefer them to be extra soft. Yummy and easy.

I am generally not a fan of Rachael Ray and I do not like sloppy joes but Oh My Gosh these are delicious and might just make me start trying some more of her recipes. My mom made these when I was over at her house one evening and I immedialtely asked where she got the recipe, they were that good. I was actually going to leave before dinner, since I don't like sloppy joes, but I am so glad I stayed and gave these a try. So delicious. Just sweet enough, with a fabulous flavor from the Montreal Steak Seasoning, a richness from the Worcestershire sauce and a zing from the red wine vinegar. I use the full tablespoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning when I make these and they always turn out perfect. Throw away the cans of Manwich, you won't ever want to use it again after trying these.

I'm having a hard time understanding why this got such rave reviews. I followed it as written, but when I finished, it was over-the-top sweet. I mitigated the sweetness by adding about 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds, 1 tsp yellow mustard powder, 1/4 tsp. dried cayenne pepper, and a few shakes of crushed red pepper and black pepper. Once it was doctored up, it tasted fine, but it's going to take more than this recipe to get me hot & bothered for sloppy joes. I'd probably make it again but would definitely reduce the amount of brown sugar next time.

we just made this for supper tonight. The best sloppy joes ever! I'll never buy canned again. The taste was amazing and we had to eat them on white bread. I can't wait to make them again with a good Kaiser roll

This is soooo good. My husband came home from a business trip and he said they were the bests sloppy joes he's ever had. My changes: Used ground turkey, a small can tomato sauce, 3/4 can tomato paste, 2 chipotles in adobo with some of the sauce, 2 cloves garlic. There was no missing the beef. They were not greasy and held together on a wheat potato bun brilliantly - fantastic! This recipe is the perfect base for sloppy joes that you can tweak to make your own. Thanks Rachael!

Super simple, easy and delicious. Had it open faced with sliced baby kosher dills on top, yum. Also served it with a 1/4" diced tomato, cucumber, red onion salad tossed with a bleu cheese/re wine vinaigrette.

This is absolutely the best sloppy joe recipe! I've scaled it up and made it for the youth groups at church...always a big hit. Only two changes I've made. I drain the ground beef and I add some minced garlic.
